The MC Mud-Proof Combination Oil Seal is a specialized rotary shaft seal engineered for the extreme conditions of agricultural soil preparation. Designed primarily for rotary tillers, it combines a self‑rotating inner assembly with a robust double‑lip elastomer seal to deliver unmatched protection against grass winding, abrasive mud, and lubricant leakage.
Functional Design & Superior Sealing
Unlike conventional oil seals, this combination seal features an independently rotating inner ring that contacts the shaft. As the shaft turns, the inner ring rotates with it, eliminating direct rubber‑to‑shaft friction and preventing shaft groove wear — a common failure point in dusty environments. The outer NBR sealing lip, reinforced by a steel garter spring, creates a tight static seal against the housing, while the inner dust lip blocks fine soil particles, grass debris, and moisture. The result is a true double‑barrier: oil stays in, mud and grass stay out.
