VC VG VCW Oil Seal is a V-type single-lip springless seal designed to seal in grease or seal out dust. It is not suitable for high-pressure applications. This seal can be used in combination with the S-type oil seal.
The VC is a zero-pressure single lip radial oil seal without a garter spring. The rubber covered OD enhances the sealing ability of the outer diameter. However, please note that the internal face of the steel case is not fully rubber covered. This seal is not recommended for use in polluted environments as it lacks an exclusionary sealing lip. To ensure optimal performance throughout its lifetime, it is important to apply an adequate lubricant under the sealing lip.
The main difference between the VC and VG/VCW types lies in the presence of an outer thread. The VC type does
